Our yard was the "gift that keeps on giving" while the boys' cousins were in town. All kinds of crazy things went on as you'll see in some upcoming posts. These were some of the "calmer" moments.
This appears to be some kind of game in which you chuck as many balls as you can, as far as you can, with a snow shovel. Good midwestern fun.
This child-sized tractor and trailer remains the best $5 I have ever spent.
Just in case you were wondering, this sprinkler was the worst $2 I've ever spent. Worked for five minutes as in the photo below (image from Toys R Us, NOT of MY family frolicking in the sprinkler as I would have wished...it didn't work long enough for me to get the camera) and has gotten progressively MORE disappointing.

Once again proving that wading pools are NOT just for preschoolers! Water fight!
Fishing! Even the oldest kids LOVED the wooden magnetic fishing poles from Peapods.
