DIY Elementary Materials: Geography

Have you ever made your own Montessori elementary geography materials? Might you in the future? Have you or will you post about it? If you have in the past, or do in the future, please feel free to add yourself to the link list at the end of this post.

Please format the link title as follows (in the "name" box):Name of the Material: Your blog Name

For example:

Layers of the Earth: Montessori Is Not For the Weak

I have categorized the Elementary DIY collaboration according to AMI album titles.  If you are not sure where to put something, take your best guess.  In my albums, "Geography" includes the first Great Lesson and continues from there to include our place in the universe, much of what would be considered "geology" and "physical science", as well as what would be thought of traditionally as "geography."

I thought it might be nice to collect some DIY links all in one place and do a bit of blog surfing at the same time.

The "Ultimate Montessori Homemade Materials Collaboration" button was created by my friend over at Walk Beside Me. (She also came up with the great name!). It can be copy and pasted. It would probably be helpful for other readers if you would add it to the end of any post you link here so that they can get back to the list easily. It could also be added to your sidebar and linked so that you can direct your readers to the great posts that all of you have written.

  1. I have been terrible about blog reading lately, but I wanted to let you know that as my kids have grown/family grown I have a 9-12yo now and a special needs kiddo. Of course I also haven't been blogging Montessori as much, but I know you like to keep your lists up to date :)

I'm so glad you are continuing on in Montessori homeschool!
